Learn Java and unlock the power of Minecraft: Java Edition by making Java-based mods! If you have your own online copy of the Minecraft: Java Edition game, you can use it - if you don't, no problem! There will be copies you can use during the session. Some experience with text-based programming is recommended, but not necessary. This course is recommended for young people with an interest in learning Java and making fun things with it!

8-bit Code Club runs FREE in-person events at the Gaylord Public Library on Saturdays.
Young people engage in hands-on activities to explore, discover, and invent.

Attendees do not need to bring anything except curiosity and respect for fellow coders!
All computing and electronic materials will be provided for use during the event.
8-bit Code Club is recommended for young people ages 9 and up.
